The Christmas The Lights Went Out
This link takes you to a Christmas story. It's beautiful and it will help you practise the Simple Past and learn lots of new vocabulary.
We'll work in class with the story in two weeks. Try to identify what happens to each character.
Give it a try!

Level 1- End-of-term Project
In order to integrate several topics dealt with during this first level course (March-July 2011). I asked students to pick a character or famous person and prepare a presentation about them. It should include a brief profile, an overview of the character's main activities and a description of their home and of the area where they live.
